Started his insurance
career in 1989 with the opening of Continental Agency of Florida, Inc.
Direction and guidance by Leon Finver (Father, over forty years in the
business) and our New Jersey office proved to be a tremendous benefit.
In June of 2000 was promoted to president of Continental Agency of
Florida, Inc.
Major time and effort
spent in developing markets and agent relationships that are essential
in building our organization.
PROFESSIONAL
ACTIVITIES: Graduated in the first National Association of Professional
Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO), 1990. Has acted as master of ceremonies
at several NAIW conventions. Given talks and written articles on Surplus
Lines to various groups, was featured with a few other colleagues in a
video about Surplus Lines and Today's Marketplace. Currently serving on
the Florida Surplus Lines Association Board, on the Palm Beach
Independent insurance agents board, and currently helping to develop a
new manual for Florida Surplus Lines. Attended numerous seminars on
topics pertinent to Surplus Lines.
LEISURE TIME
ACTIVITIES: Driving race cars, boating, tinkering and fixing things and
of course cheering for our local hockey team The Florida Panthers. But
most of all I love to spend quality time with my beautiful daughter
Megan, handsome son Jared, and my wife Charlotte.

career began in a retail agency. In 1986 joined The Insurance House,
Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia as a commercial auto underwriter. Later
transferred to the casualty department and was promoted to specialty
lines broker as a specialist in Directors and Officers and professional
liability. continued in this field with U.S. Risk of Florida until the
birth of daughter in 1995. Joined Continental Agency in 1995 as Senior
Specialty Lines broker. Duties include brokering of all lines of
specialty coverages such as D&O, Products, Professional and
Employment Practices Liability.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Member of
Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) Southeast Chapter
Steering Committee.
LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES: Boating, travel
and spending time with husband Steven, daughter Megan and son Jared.

Senior Specialty Lines Broker

Insurance
career began in 1986 working for an independent insurance agency in
Holmdel, New Jersey. Time was spent in both Personal & Commercial
lines and handling of specialty programs such as:
Racquetball Clubs, Veterinary Clinics and Car Washes.
Relocated back to sunny Florida and began working in the Excess and
Surplus Lines market at Continental Agency since 1992. Also assisting in
the hiring of new employees.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Member of the National Association of Insurance Women and Insurance
Professionals of the Palm Beaches.
LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES:
Enjoy Karate, watching football (Go Dolphins), Hockey (Go Panthers) and
spending time with family and friends.

Insurance career began in 1980 in the excess and surplus lines field with
Burt & Scheld Specialty Underwriters located in Daytona Beach, FL in 1985,
began working with Macduff Underwriters specializing in property and
casualty insurance. She focused mainly on the restaurant program and the
forclosed property program for banks. To further enhance her career she
joined Continental Agency of Florida in 1998. She is now a Specialty
Lines Broker with strengths in Medical Malpractice , EPLI and D & O as
well as other "Specialty Classes of Business".
LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES:
Louette enjoys
outdoor actitivies such as boating, swimming and spending time with
family and friends

in the insurance business with an independent agent in 1997. Progressed
to Agency Manager before joining Continental Agency of Florida in the
fall of 1998 as a Personal Lines Underwriter. Duties include
underwriting of Homeowners, Umbrellas, Excess Auto, Excess Homeowners
and Personal Article Floaters. LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES:
Theater, Concerts, the beach and fine dining.

Joined Continental
Agency of Florida in 1997 as a Technical Assistant, in which
responsibilities included issuing policies, endorsements, ordering
inspection reports, processing renewals and always willing to help where
needed. Promoted in 2000 to Commercial Renewal Underwriter and in 2002
received the CPSR designation. Presently studying to obtain 220 license.
LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES:
Music, cars, bowling
and spending quality time with my husband, two dogs, family and friends.

Insurance career began in 1997 as a Personal Lines Customer Service
Representative for a State Farm Agency in Broward County, Florida. In 1999
I accepted a position as a Personal Lines Auto Underwriter working
directly at the corporate headquarters.
In 2003, began working in the Excess & Surplus
lines market for the Continental Agency of Florida as a Commercial Lines
Underwriter. Duties include reviewing new business applications,
determining eligibility, and calculating premiums. Currently licensed as
2-20 Property and Casualty, 2-14 Life including variable annuity & 2-40
Health.
LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES: Health Clubs, boating, water skiing, biking and
swimming.
